Peugeot 5008

What is it?

The Peugeot 5008 is a rival for the likes of the Renault Grand Scenic, Vauxhall Zafira and of course the Citroen C4 Grand Picasso, with which the Peugeot shares a great deal of its underpinnings and interior design thanks to the two French firms being part of the same overall company.

Peugeot BB1

Not content with unveiling the i0n electric city car (a tie-up with Mitsubishi) and a pair of diesel-electric hybrids, Peugeot has lifted the covers off the rather more original BB1 concept. It's a two-door electric car with four seats and, of course, no CO2 emissions.

Peugeot iOn

Does the i0n concept look familiar? How about after we've told you it was developed with Mitsubishi? That's right, you're basically looking at a lion-branded Mitsubishi i-MiEV here, albeit sporting an even sillier name.

Peugeot RCZ HYbrid4 Concept

Peugeot has officially unveiled the RCZ coupé at Frankfurt, but despite looking identical, the RCZ HYbrid4 is technically still a concept because Peugeot won't commit to building it. That's because it's powered by a diesel-electric hybrid drivetrain.

Peugeot Super Clean Diesel Hybrid

Peugeot is pulling out all the stops to make the Frankfurt Motor Show a real landmark for the brand. Not only will it debut two ultra frugal diesel hybrids, but it will also show the production version of the sensational RCZ coupé for the first time.

Peugeot Electrifying Plan

Mitsubishi and PSA Peugeot Citroen have signed a cooperative agreement to produce and sell electric vehicles in Europe. The first model will be based on Mitsubishi's all-electric i-MiEV, a lithium ion plug-in electric city car that's built by Mitsubishi in Japan. Extending the potential market reach of the innovative electric city car will be Peugeot and Citroen branded models, these being available in showrooms in Europe by the end of 2010.

Peugeot's Future is Hybrid

Pictures of the Peugeot “Prologue” concept have been released almost a month before its Paris Motor Show debut. The Peugeot “Prologue” is a crossover vehicle which should have the benefits of a hatchback with some of the rugged abilities of an SUV.

Slotting into the range between the Peugeot 308 and 4007 SUV, Peugeot claims the “Prologue” is a new type of vehicle. And the French manufacturer says it will have high levels of performance thanks to a 200bhp which only emits 109g/km. A zero-emissions electric model is also in the pipeline.

Peugeot 3008 Crossover

The new Peugeot 3008 CrossOver vehicle is the star of this video that you can click on. In the video a high-tech theme featuring strange but cuddly robotic beings is used to show the vehicle's versatile nature and drivability. In some shots we can see a couple of nice features like a head-up display unit and a panoramic glass roof that extends to the far rear end.

Peugeot 608 Set for Paris Debut

After quite a disappointing effort of the Peugeot designers in the 607, we are expecting something with a bit more aggression and sportiness for the new generation 608. It is widely expected the new model will draw its design inspiration to the well received 308 RC Z Concept and if sources are correct we could see it as soon as the Paris Motor Show this year.
